What you see
Jobs fail or wait, or Android asks to allow a large number of messages or a premium number.
Why it happens
Android limits outgoing SMS and may ask before sending to premium short codes. A disabled SIM or no airtime also prevents sending.
What SMSKit needs and why
SEND_SMS sends messages; Phone access identifies SIMs for routing. Carrier charges and restrictions still apply.
Permissions referenceHow to fix it
- Read /docs/sms-throttle for Android outgoing SMS limits and pacing.
- If your business needs a premium short code, search Settings for Premium SMS access and allow it for SMSKit. Consider the carrier charge before accepting.
- In dashboard Devices, open this phone and enable the intended SIM. Check the SIM is active and has airtime or SMS credit.
