Why we built SMSKit

We were losing users because one-time passwords sent through an aggregator arrived late, landed in spam, or never showed up, while we paid for every one. So we tried sending the code from a real phone on a real SIM. Delivery jumped. SMSKit is that idea, built with retries, failover, and a clean API so anyone can send SMS from their own phones without per-message aggregator fees.

What we believe

• You shouldn't pay per message to text from a number you already own.
• Your messages should come from your own number, under your carrier's normal terms.
• An SMS gateway should be built like infrastructure.
