Why we built SMSKit
It started with OTPs that wouldn't arrive.
We were losing users because one-time passwords sent through an aggregator arrived late, landed in spam, or never showed up — while we paid for every one. So we tried the obvious thing: send the code from a real phone on a real SIM. Delivery jumped. SMSKit is that idea, built properly — with retries, failover, isolation, and a clean API — so anyone can send SMS from their own phones without the aggregator tax.
What we believe
- You shouldn’t pay per message to text from a number you already own.
- Deliverability comes from real numbers, not registration paperwork.
- An SMS gateway should be built like infrastructure, not a weekend hack.
